Welcome to The Paws Society. By accessing or using our website and mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

The Service is owned and operated by FLOWEDGE AI LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 193 Cambridge Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, HP20 1BQ.

1. Our Services

The Paws Society is a marketplace platform that connects pet owners ("Owners") with professional pet groomers ("Groomers"). We act as a facilitator for bookings and payments but do not provide grooming services ourselves. The contract for grooming services is directly between the Owner and the Groomer.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Bookings and Payments

• Booking: When an Owner creates a booking, they enter into a contract directly with the Groomer.
• Payment: We facilitate payments through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Owners are charged at the time of booking or upon completion of services, as per the Groomer's settings.
• Fees: We may charge a service fee or commission which will be clearly displayed before you confirm any booking or subscription.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are set by individual Groomers. Owners should review the specific cancellation policy for each Groomer before booking. Refunds are subject to these policies and are processed at our discretion in accordance with consumer rights laws.

5. User Content

By posting content (e.g., reviews, pet photos) on the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with providing and promoting the Service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to such content.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other users.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FLOWEDGE AI LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of grooming services provided by Groomers.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
